THE COMPOUND
You’ll have exclusive access to the entire compound, including the main house, private vintage Airstream, outdoor soaking areas, fire pit, dining spaces, and surrounding fenced outdoor areas.
The main house provides a comfortable home base with a bedroom, while the separate vintage Airstream offers an time capsule of a private sleeping and living space — making this an especially fun and flexible setup for couples traveling together, families, or friends who want to share a property while still having their own space. The accommodations and outdoor areas are thoughtfully arranged across the property, giving everyone room to relax, gather, or enjoy a little privacy.

PROPERTY LAYOUT, SLEEPING & BATHROOMS ARRANGEMENTS

STUDIO HOUSE ZONE

INTERIOR (Studio House Zone):
– 1 Studio Bedroom – King Bed with private bathroom, rolling barn door partition.
– Full bathroom – sink, toilet and walk-in shower.
– Cooling wall-unit in bedroom.
– Built in electric fireplace in bedroom.
– 1 TV in the bedroom.
– Kitchen with galley window view into courtyard and beautiful mountain view.
– The kitchen is equipped with a farm style sink, vintage style “UNIQUE” refrigerator with freezer, four-burner induction cooktop, microwave, Keurig Pod coffeemaker and cookware.
– Plenty of windows for cool breeze and ample lighting.

EXTERIOR (Studio House Zone):
– Areas of Astro-turf throughout the courtyard.
– Above ground swimming pool, accessible by walking platform.
– Above ground jacuzzi spa, accessible by walking platform. The Jacuzzi’s have electric heaters and are complimentary.
– Outdoor shower to rinse off after sun and swimming.
– 2 lounge chairs under an umbrella in the courtyard for relaxing, reading, napping.
– Patio #1 – seating 4 within the courtyard of the main house lot just outside the dining room
– Patio #1 – includes a natural gas firepit in the seating area for visiting and s’mores.
– Patio #2 – lounge bed and hammock chair in a separate patio area on the main house lot.
– Full size hammock located on the exterior of the property outside of Patio #2.
– Propane BBQ accompanied by the table seated with 4 chairs for outdoor dining.
– Cornhole and Jenga outdoor games.

VINTAGE AIRSTREAM ZONE

INTERIOR (Vintage Airstream Zone):
– The Airstream’s compact design is part of its charm—cozy and intimate rather than sprawling.
– King Bed – sleep in comfort.
– 1 TV above the end of the bed.
– Kitchenette is equipped with a farm style sink, two-burner induction cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig Pod coffeemaker and cookware.
– Dining Area, u-shaped seating to circle around the table for meals and games.
– Mini-split unit for cooling above the dining area.

EXTERIOR (Vintage Airstream Zone):
– Full Bathroom Outhouse – recently renovated, located next to the Airstream along a dedicated pathway providing sink, toilet and walk-in shower.
– Areas of Astro-turf throughout the courtyard.
– Additional outdoor shower.
– – Above ground jacuzzi spa. The Jacuzzi’s have electric heaters and are complimentary.
– Cowboy Tub.
– Seating area with 3 chairs 1 high top table, within the courtyard.
– Seating for four around a propane firepit table for visiting and s’mores, within the courtyard.
– Propane BBQ & Smoker.
– Cornhole and Jenga outdoor games.

LIVING & GATHERING
The main house provides a comfortable indoor space to relax and reset between desert adventures and outdoor lounging sessions, while the vintage Airstream adds a playful and memorable element to the property.

But the true heart of the compound is outdoors. With multiple areas to lounge, dine, soak, cool off, and gather around the fire, the property is designed to encourage guests to spend their time outside enjoying the desert surroundings. Whether you’re cooling off in the afternoon, sharing dinner outdoors, or soaking beneath a sky full of stars, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the compound without ever needing to leave.

COMFORT & AMENITIES
– Climate Comfort – Both the main house and Airstream are equipped with air conditioning for hot desert days, along with heating and portable fans for added comfort during cooler desert evenings..
– A shared washer and dryer is located on the compound available for added convenience, making the compound well suited for both weekend escapes and longer stays.
– TV’s for relaxation, WiFi for staying connected (or not), and board games for entertainment.
– Bed linens, extra pillows, blankets, are conveniently accessible within the sleeping areas.
– Coffee supplies are provided for easy mornings, while the outdoor dining areas offer an inviting setting for enjoying breakfast, takeout, or a BBQ dinner together.

“Had a great time with my GF at this airstream oasis. We liked how the yard was very private and had good lighting at night. Inside the airstream was roomy than we expected. The bed was huge and super comfy and made for a good nights sleep. A/C in airstream kept us cool during the 82 degree heat. Pool and hot tube had sand inside but nothing that made us not want to get in, we enjoyed both. Some areas of airstream and restroom could use some detailed cleaning but overall most areas were maintained clean. Would recommend this place to family and friends. Great stay!”

“LDS’s Airstream was PERFECT for my partner, small dog and I. We utilized every accommodation outside with ease. Inside the airstream was such a treat! Felt roomy enough for the two of us, comfortable bed, the AC worked so well we were cold inside on a 90 degree morning! The small tv next to the bed is just right for a movie night. The mini fridge kept all our frozen items just that, frozen. The bathroom outside the airstream was clean and convenient. The fencing kept in our small, 10 lbs puppy who loves to explore, so I was very grateful for that. I would recommend this property to any couple looking for a relaxing few days. Thanks again!!”

“We had a great stay! It might be a little rustic for a princess (I mean, it's an old trailer, but cool vibe) but was very clean and had all needed amenities. Solitude and awesome sunsets by the fire pit and hot tub. Very quiet area. Very private. You will have to walk out of the camper to go about 50 ft to the bathroom building if you have to pee during the night ; ) but there's a button to turn on outside lights so it was no big deal. Good clean shower and bathroom in small separate building. Option to shower outdoors I guess but didn't use that shower. Only a few short miles to main part of Joshua Tree town and park entrance.”

“We had a magical stay!! The airstream was so cute and clean, and the yard was out of this world. The cowboy pool, grill and spa were all amazing amenities! The yard is super private yet you don't feel too far from civilization, getting into town only takes about 4 minutes. I was a little worried about the airstream cooling off for sleeping just due to it being so hot out being it's the middle of July, but it was very comfortable to sleep in with the AC and temps dropping outside at night. Our hosts were very responsive even late at night, and answered any questions we had with great response time. Check in and out were both super easy. I can't wait to come back!!!”

The private oasis was so peaceful, and we especially loved starting the day with a refreshing cold plunge in the cowboy pool. Our 3 pups also loved exploring the space. The location was ideal, just minutes from downtown Joshua Tree, and perfect for watching the meteor showers. Highly recommend!”
