Upon arrival, the gate code was not working, and it was initially difficult to reach someone by phone. Once we had the correct contact information, the team was very responsive and helpful. When the coffee maker was broken, they delivered a replacement within an hour and even brought us a bottle of wine to make up for the gate and contact issues. Overall, I would say the service recovery was excellent.”

“What a dream!! The Mod was incredible and perfect for our large party. We kept thinking how is this our life?? It truly was everything we’d hoped and more. The location has been partially remodeled and didn’t reflect pictures at the time of our stay but there is 8 bed rooms, and 8 bathrooms. One bedroom also has a bunk bed for a total of 10 beds. It was a nice surprise to have much more space than we originally thought. We can’t wait to go back!!”

The space was wonderful, exactly like the photos, had plenty of space for 12 girls, and the host was extremely responsive whenever they needed us. “The Mod was the absolutely perfect place to host my bachelorette weekend. The property was clean, cute, and well equipped for our group of 10 people. Sadly the final day of our stay was interrupted by a tragic act of violence in the Palm Springs community. I cannot say enough good things about APEK and how they handled our needs in this situation, especially when it became evident that it was necessary to vacate the property. Marshall in guest services was so genuine and caring and even provided his personal contact information in case we were to need it. Another APEK representative followed up to make sure we had found alternative accommodations, and everyone made it clear that their top priority was our safety. I cannot recommend this property and APEK enough. I hope I can stay at The Mod again someday!”

“We had a blast! This was the perfect place for our bachelorette party weekend. Everything was meticulously updated, cleaned and maintained. The kitchen was perfect for our in-house chef night too. And he was the perfect recommendation. We ran into a couple of snags with the pool and wifi but the Apek rental team was there to help us every step of the way. I would highly recommend this place as the quintessential Palm Springs weekend retreat. It’s also got a prime location, close to allthethings that make Palm Springs so special!”

“First, this place was AMAZING. It looked exactly like the photos and offered everything needed for my bachelorette. The fact that I could blast music outside, while having a bachelorette party, without having to worry that the cops would be called to a rental property was such a plus and gave me piece of mind that everyone would fully enjoy their stay. Each bedroom was so comfortable and well designed. The entire place gave that classic yet funky Palm Springs vibe that I was hoping for. The place was conveniently located, ubers were max $5, and walking was an easy 1-mile to nearby bars and other fun places. The view of the mountains from the jacuzzi is a must. The property manager, Kevin, was exceptionally attentive, respectful, and profession. Highly recommend staying here if you want to have a bachelorette in Palm Springs!”

Our group has been friends for 12+ years now and has grown as we've gotten married + kids + dogs and it's always so hard to find a place that can accommodate us (especially with 3 babies under 2!) - but this place was absolutely perfect! It was so beautifully decorated, so fun and the rooms and layout was perfect! Unfortunately we came over Labor Day weekend when temps were 110 everyday so we spent most of our time indoors, but the community room was great for us to be able to cook, watch tv, play and hang out. We have already said we would love to come back (perhaps when it's not as hot). The only challenge was parking, but we made it work!”

“Great stay for a big party! The airbnb was very clean, had amazing decor, & lots of games. Had plenty of towels and seating for everyone. We came to celebrate friends getting married and liked that we all had our own rooms and could have group activities in the common room. Pool was a nice escape from the summer heat. Convenient parking right in the front. Short Uber ride to downtown Palm Springs to enjoy the night life. Host was very responsive to any issues we ran into.”

We each had our own bedroom and bathroom with a great communal area which was plenty big with everything you would need between the kitchen, living room and outdoor common area. Close to all of the downtown restaurants and casino. It was a perfect and fun stay! I definitely recommend this place!”

“My group had an awesome time at The Mod. It has a super cool decor and vibe to explore. Having the entire place to yourself with this layout feels like everyone is the king of the property. Super neat that everyone had their own private room with full bath and smart TV to enjoy. Awesome community space that we could all hang out in with really nice kitchen and dining area. Everything is brand new. It was great to have free amenities of spa and 4 bikes, so we took a ride around Palm Springs for dinner and breakfast. Lounging in the private pool area in the evening was the icing on the cake.”

“Highly recommended this place. They have thought of everything you need for a fun weekend in Palm Springs. Located 1 mile from downtown bars and restaurants. We were one of the first groups to stay here and celebrated my wife’s 30th birthday. They made sure the place was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The rooms are really nice and everyone has their own bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom in addition to the main club house that is perfect for entertaining. Pool, hot tub, sonos sound system inside and out, Nintendo switch, cofffe pot, blender, you name it they probably have it there. Seriously they have more appliances and utensils than I have at home. We did have a few notes for improvement but being we were the second group to use this place. We were given the wrong code at check in, which they quickly resolved, they didn’t have the outdoor string lights on a working switch, and the garbage disposal didn’t work. They did give us a discount and fix right away. 5/5”

“The space is fantastic for a large group; adorable decor, well stocked with everything you need, etc. Coordination / check in was convenient and easy. The only downside of our stay was that the grill had not been properly cleaned, causing a grease fire upon turning it on to pre-heat. The rental agency suggested that we’d need to pay for damages to the grill, which was frustrating, given that it was clearly a result of impoper cleaning prior to our arrival, and not something we could have predicted or prevented. On further discussion it appears they’ve agreed not to charge us. A couple things to know that weren’t explicitly outlined at our time of booking: 1. They require that you access a separate online portal outside Airbnb’s site to sign an additional rental agreement & add more personal info about your guests 2. Early check-in costs $25/hour, pool heating is $100/day 2 day minimum Overall great option for groups, just be prepared for extra agreements/potential costs.”

“What a great place for our family gathering. So colorful, comfortable and lots to see and do. It would have been nearly imposable to locate a house in the PS area that had all these amenities and accommodations for our group of nine. Liked the insta-hots serving the individual units bathrooms. Kitchen worked well for the meals we had in the Mod, both morning and evening. We'd do it again and recommend it. Wrong keycode at gate. Way too much chlorine in the pool, actually the wrong kind of chlorine to shock the water system. We had clothes that were bleached out from the hot tub water when we first used it. Left top open and it dissipated. Any minor item we encountered were taken care of asap.”
