“We stayed here with a group of 10 for a work convention, and it was the perfect setup for us. Everyone loved having their own private rooms and spaces, while still being able to come together in the shared community areas — it made the trip both comfortable and fun. The property is also conveniently located just off the main strip, only about a 15-minute walk or a quick 3–5 minute drive to restaurants, shops, and everything we needed. Parking is limited on-site, but the host was kind enough to let us use the property next door, which was a huge help for a group our size. Overall, great place for large groups — clean, comfortable, and a unique layout that gives both privacy and togetherness. We’d definitely stay again!”

“We stayed at Maya for my best friends bachelorette party! The place was beautiful. I was a little worried that may be the pictures photographed the place better than the finishes actually were, but no! The finishes were beautiful and the place was really well decorated - perfect for our group! There were a few little things that were either not working or needed attention (thats ok, expect that) but the hosts responded immediately every time and sent someone over to remedy the situation immediately every time. I was very happy with the friendly and welcoming support from Apek! I would highly recommend this for a large group!”

“Great place to stay, especially if you have a large group of people. We all enjoyed the place and everyone still talks about going back. We had issues with codes at the gate when we checked in and for one of the bedrooms. But they responded quickly and were able to get us in within a few minutes . The property is very nice, beds are extremely comfortable and so are the pillows.”

We had 13 people (4 couples) and everyone had their own room and bed. One of the only times the description has fully met reality. When we needed something, management had it sent over same day. “Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it for large groups! We were a group doing a mom/daughter trip (girls were ~8 years old). The Maya is super cute, plenty of space, great amenities / extra perks, and just like described / pictured. The host was very responsive and addressed any issues that came up quickly. There were a few minor maintenance things that we were able to work around and they sent out a maintenance person same day to assist with one. I recommend carpooling, there is only 2 standard parking stalls plus one handicap stall on property and no street parking on the immediate street, so several of us had to walk a few blocks to park cars in the extreme heat. Also the neighbors complained about the kids playing in the pool too loudly in the middle of the day which isn’t the host’s fault, but just something to be aware of. Their other listing, The Mod, is literally next door and would be perfect to add on if you have a huge group going.”

We had 11 girls, there was more than enough space and the kitchen was the perfect size to cook for a group our size. The property was on a main road which felt less private than other places in the area. Our whole group loved the decor in every single part of the house! We would definitely stay here again!”

“We absolutely enjoyed our stay! We used all the amenities! The grill, pool, jacuzzi, bar area, game room, community room and kitchen! The hotel looks exactly like what is shown in the pictures. Their portal to other vendors is easy to use and it's great service! We booked the Habachi dinner and all of our friends loved it! Not to mention, their close proximity to Coachella Palm Springs Shuttle location (Palm Springs Convention Center) is a total win! it's a five minute drive from the hotel. The APEK team answered all of my questions and ensured we were happy with our stay. We had an absolute blast and would definitely book any APEK property again.”

“Had a group stay at the Maya and it was a great solution for our wanting everyone to have their own space, but still have the privacy of a residence vs. staying at a hotel. Smart layout, nice to have a little gym in-house and several places to gather together (e.g., in the kitchen, in the living room area, the inside dining table, the outside dining table, in the game room, around the fire pit or at the bar outside next to the hot tub). Added bonus is that all 8 rooms are basically the same with king beds and big bathrooms with walk-in showers, so nobody in our group felt like they drew the short straw.”

“We stayed at the Maya for my birthday and it was perfect! Can easily accommodate a group of 20+ if needed! Having separate spaces and 8 showers was wonderful for our large group. The shared spaces were the heart of our stay. The kitchen, game room, pool, fire pit, and hot tub were where we spend 90% of our time! It is such a great location for any part of Palm Springs you plan to go explore. Could not recommend this place more if you have a group of 16+ going to PS!”

Lots of fun was had in the pool area by all ages and the bonus of the games room, workout area and ping pong outside was a huge plus! We had a great family reunion. If anything came up the communication was great and they were quick to support with a solution.”

“Our extended family of 20 stayed here for 3 nights, it was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed the space as there was room to hang out in the community area and room to spread out if needed. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one bunk room and one king that can be connected. There are 6 bedrooms on the second floor. The 9th bedroom is attached to the community room and that one has the half bath. There is one room for the gym and one game room. There were a few minor issues, I think it might be helpful to have a manual for the guests and some more instructions, like how to connect your phone to the pool speakers (we weren’t able to get it to work) and that you need your own subscription for the peloton. 2 rooms we couldn’t turn on/off the lights/fan, but we were able to work around it. We loved the kitchen, it was well stocked, we loved the pool and jacuzzi as well. Hosts were responsive and answered all our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!”

“This is by far one of the best Airbnb properties and experiences we’ve had. Check in was easy and their rental site was also easy to navigate to request for things like early check in or late check out. The host was responsive and got back to me when I had questions or wanted to request an additional night. The property itself was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the game room and everyone appreciated that they had their own space. AC units worked well in all the bedrooms, however not as strong in the community room. The only other suggestion I would have is to maybe dedicate one room to be ADA compliant. We had one auntie in our party that needed at least a handrail in her bathroom. Our entire family had such a great time. We’d love to come back and rent The Mod next door too!”

“The Maya was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. It’s hands down gorgeous, in a great location, has all the amenities you would ever want, is great for groups, and APEK itself was easy to work with. I genuinely could rave about this but the highlights are: -The beds and sheets are so comfy and soft. -Sonos speakers throughout the place which provides a streamlined experience. -The kitchen is stocked with anything you would ever need and has enough stuff for large groups. -The Airbnb itself is so cute, well decorated, and just well thought out. -The place is family, dog and kid friendly. -AC in the rooms work great. -The available up charges are worth it and provide a seamless experience.”

“Perfect destination for our annual Memorial Day weekend with five families and eight kids. It was plenty of space and gave everyone a great balance of private rooms/bathrooms and shared common areas. Super walkable to north downtown PS, including two liquor stores and Cartel Coffee, and only about a 4-5 min drive to the downtown core or to grocery. The pictures are accurate - everything is that lovely. Downstairs rooms were configurable with a connecting door, so we had the option of two kings and a bunk room. Second floor has five rooms, two of which had a lovely sitting room/couch that was perfect for a pack & play and one of which had bunk beds in that space. The gym is totally built out and we loved the game room. Plenty of pool towels and bath towels and kitchen towels were available for us. It was an A++.”

The game room, in particular, became a nightly retreat for us. Playing pool and unwinding in the game room provided the perfect way to relax after a busy day at the convention. “There was a bit of confusion when communicating with Apek rentals about questions we had but we were always able to get an answer, just took longer than usual. Overall, we had a great stay at the Maya. The pool was dirty when we arrived because of a recent wind storm but once I messaged about it they had a pool technician come by to clean it right away. Great service :)”

We had some things that were frustrating like we could not turn the ceiling fan off in one bedrooms. We paid to have the pool heated and it wasn't. They did fix the pool but not as quickly as we would have hoped. All things considered I would stay there again.”

“The place was perfect for a group, everyone had their own room and plenty of common area for gathering. Everything was as described and the only issues were no instructions on how to keep the jacuzzi cleaned (which they did dispatch someone after we inquired) and no hot water in the entire facility (no hot showers, no hot water in kitchen for clean-up) on our last day. No one came out despite our messaging. That was the only real big issue we had.”
